Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how M24 Media ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the WickLab Pro mobile application ("App") available on the Apple App Store. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
WickLab Pro is a local-first application. The following data is created and stored entirely on your device and, where you have iCloud enabled, synced via Apple's CloudKit service:
- Candle formulas, including wax blends, fragrances, wicks, vessels, colours, and additives
- Material inventory records, supplier details, and pricing information
- Production batch records and test burn logs
- Company or legal entity details you enter for label and SDS generation (name, address, VAT number)
- App preferences and settings (units, currency, default values)
We do not have access to this data. It lives on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
1.2 Subscription Information
WickLab Pro uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. When you subscribe, RevenueCat processes your subscription status. RevenueCat may collect:
- A pseudonymous device identifier
- Subscription purchase events and entitlement status
- App version and operating system version
RevenueCat does not collect your name, email address, or payment card details — those are handled entirely by Apple. Please review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for full details.
1.3 iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you are signed in to iCloud and enable sync, your app data is stored in your personal iCloud account via CloudKit. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access your iCloud data.
1.4 Crash Reports and Diagnostics
If you have opted in to share diagnostics with developers via iOS Settings, Apple may forward anonymised crash reports to us. These reports contain technical stack traces and device information (iOS version, device model) but no personal data or formula content.
2. How We Use Information
We use the limited information available to us solely to:
- Verify subscription entitlements and unlock Pro features
- Diagnose and fix application bugs
- Respond to support requests you send to us directly
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
All formula and production data is stored locally using Core Data on your iPhone or iPad. Data synced via iCloud is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not operate servers that store your candle formulas or business data.
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we do process through RevenueCat, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Because your data lives on your device, you are in full control of its retention and deletion:
- You can delete individual records at any time from within the App
- You can reset all App data via Settings → Danger Zone → Reset All Data
- Deleting the App from your device removes all locally stored data
- To remove iCloud-synced data, reset the App data and disable iCloud sync, or delete the App from all devices and remove the iCloud container data from Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage
RevenueCat subscription records are retained for the period required to fulfil subscription management and comply with applicable law. Contact RevenueCat directly to request deletion of their records.
5. Children's Privacy
WickLab Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
6. Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services:
- RevenueCat — Subscription management. Privacy Policy
- Apple CloudKit — Optional iCloud data sync. Privacy Policy
- Apple App Store — App distribution and payment processing. Privacy Policy
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data under applicable law (including GDPR for EEA/UK residents and CCPA for California residents). These include the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data.
Because we hold minimal personal data (limited to pseudonymous subscription identifiers via RevenueCat), most of your rights can be exercised directly within the App. For any other requests, please contact us at the address below.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
